ShelterSF DNB - 19-Year Anniversary

Another year has passed and anniversary time is upon us again! Thursday, October 15th we will be celebrating NINETEEN YEARS of Shelter SF Drum & Bass!!! As the longest (currently) running drum & bass + jungle night in San Francisco, we’re excited and pleased to celebrate yet another year of doing our part to help keep this music pumping in the San Francisco Bay Area! Just as with prior years, we're grateful to be able to play the music we love, and appreciate to the community - new and old - for their continued support. We are also pleased to be a place to regularly host local and up-and-coming DJs, as the importance of maintaining the lifeblood of the community cannot be overstated enough. In addition to all that, we’re also celebrating that we are able to keep the vibes + tunes flowing at our amazing home venue Underground SF! Formerly known as The Top, this location - at 424 Haight street - has been host to multiple dnb + jungle nights for over a quarter century. Shelter began back in 2007, with our immediate predecessor, Phuturo, running for years before Shelter (and Phunckateck even before that!) We are fortunate to have a diverse crew, whose memberships spans the lifetime of Shelter (with some even preceding it!) and all bring different skills, styles and their own unique tastes and talents together to contribute to the night as a whole. And massive appreciation goes out to the Underground SF crew who’ve been to good to Shelter over the years (RIEP Woo) While not the Tuesday night weekly it was looong ago, we've maintained our regular schedule, and never missed a month, even streaming all throughout quarantine. We were fortunate to be able to return to live shows in fall of 2022 and are happy to still be able to keep (what has now become) this long-standing event going, and to continue doing great shows with wonderful people! As has become annual tradition, we’ll be celebrating 19 years of Shelter with a jam of all six of our residents - Reyka, Kinetik, Shadow Spirit, Corrine, Screwtape and Shibumi - each having multiple sets and rotations throughout the night, and we hope to see you all out there to celebrate and get down with us! Thursday, October 15th 2025, 9pm-2am, 21+, free all night - don’t sleep on THIS one! SHELTER SF DNB 2007-Present
