Stylistically versatile, Haram is known equally for her bass and club music heavy DJ sets, detail-oriented analogue sound design, electronic-folk Middle Eastern production, and abrasive rap collaborations. She is one half of 700 Bliss, a hip-hop/noise project with Moor Mother; the duo released the critically acclaimed Nothing to Declare on Hyperdub Records in 2022. DJ Haram hosts Monday Night Raw, a monthly show at Brooklyn's the Lot Radio, curating open format DJ b2bs and live rap and experimental performances. Her debut solo album Beside Myself was released on Hyperdub in 2025. Sha Ray is a rapper and multidisciplinary artist from Indianapolis, currently based in San Francisco. Committed to the unconventional and paving her own path, she performed on multiple national underground rap tours before releasing music on streaming platforms. Her commanding lyricism interrogates and satirizes misogyny, sexuality and desire while asserting feminine authority. Her debut album Critical Thot, a collaboration with DJ Haram, was released on Backwoodz Studioz in June 2026. Discnogirl is an Oakland-based DJ, producer and co-founder of Strapt. A steadfast sonic powerhouse with a career devoted to Black American dance music, he honors its roots and origins through genre-expansive sets that can land almost anywhere under the umbrella of club music. DJ Ari B is a DJ, producer and audio engineer based in Oakland. Informed by their Iranian roots and a lifelong love of hip-hop and sampling, their percussive sets connect footwork, house and Jersey club with SWANA sounds like chaâbi, raï and bandari. Their approach lets global rhythms and samples cycle, shift, deepen and unfold on the dance floor. Their music and organizing create spaces for the queer SWANA diaspora to connect through community and dance.
